

When we were informed about the Claviga training, our first reaction wasn't optomistic. To attend four full days' training, whilst working on the busy front desk afterwards, wasn't going to be easy at all. Moreover, we weren't really aware of the advantages of the training since the topic was so intangible.
After the first session, all of us were more positive. The training was, not only entertaining with several group exercises, but also educational with Jane's exceptional training skills. We didn't even realise how the time passed and how much we learned during the sessions.
After the training, everybody was excited to see the consequences of what they had learnt. Amendments on the Upselling Incentive Program, as well as continuous follow-up, helped a lot in its success.
Claviga's Front Desk plus assisted us in several ways. First, we all realised that in order to increase guests' satisfaction, it is essential to understand their needs. There is nothing wrong in offering a higher category room it if fits their needs. Moreover, in three months, we increased our up-selling revenue significantly compared with last year.
