New Chief Executive
for Claviga
From
1st January 2005, Brian Tilley, a director of Claviga since September
2002, will become our new Chief Executive. Brian will lead Claviga
forward into the next, expansionary phase, which will consolidate our
success in the hospitality sector and develop our presence in the
travel and leisure business arena.
“I’m
excited about the challenge,” says Brian. “I see it as a new phase for
Claviga and managing the business through it. It’s a natural
progression, being involved with the company from the beginning and to
influence where it goes in the future.”
“Brian joined Claviga the day we opened in September 1997, with no
furniture and two mobile phones”, recalls current Chief Executive
Richard Hodgson. “He has been a significant part of our success,” says
Richard, “and I have great confidence in Brian leading the business
forward.”
From 1st January 2005, Richard Hodgson will become Chairman of
Claviga, focussing on opening up and developing new client networks.

Personality Profiling
A Brand New Service
Claviga
now offers our clients the personality profiling tool known as the
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). The MBTI is recognised as one of
the world’s foremost personality type indicators, which facilitates
participants in understanding their personality type and its related
implications both in personal and business life. Claviga’s Richard
Hodgson qualified as a practitioner of the MBTI at the end of October.
“It has a wide application across all areas of management, selling
disciplines and all aspects of life,” says Richard.
A scientifically-backed instrument, clients use
MBTI most commonly to aid team members to enhance relationships,
assist in managing stress, build better team dynamics including
increased self-awareness and self-esteem.
