One of our clients, a top UK catering company, was expanding rapidly and they needed to ensure their management were fully equipped to cope with the expansion whilst ensuring the culture and standards of the company were maintained.
Through a series of interviews, we explored the company's operation. We found a closely knit team who were, at some levels, operating below their level of responsibility and in need of development to realise their potential.
An 18 month modular programme was designed. Each module was linked to individual and team projects to help apply the learning. There was regular one-to-one coaching and a mentoring scheme was developed to enable continuous evaluation.
The programme has proved highly successful and so popular that competition to gain a place on the second programme has been hotly contested.
We have seen our senior managers starting to operate at a higher level, taking more initiative and using their better understanding of business to further develop their sites and teams. Claviga has worked closely with us to create a seamless and integrated style of learning for our managers.
